MIDLAND, Texas — The east Loop 250, Interstate 20 overpass will be closed for several hours after an 18-wheeler carrying non-hazardous chemicals caught fire.
Traffic is being diverted onto FM 307 as clean up crews work on the scene.
According to city officials, the chemical started leaking from the semi when the driver tried to drive off the road and caught fire.
No one was injured in the accident.
