OPD: Woman arrested after kicking officer in the knee

A woman has been charged and arrested for assault on a public servant. On Sunday evening, Odessa police said they responded to a disturbance in the 2900 block of North Hancock Avenue. At the scene, police said they made contact with Kayla Marie Mcintosh, 30.

ODESSA, TX (KWES) - A woman has been charged and arrested for assault on a public servant.

On Sunday evening, Odessa police said they responded to a disturbance in the 2900 block of North Hancock Avenue.

At the scene, police said they made contact with Kayla Marie Mcintosh, 30.

According to authorities, while they tried to handcuff Mcintosh, she intentionally kicked Corporal M. Lara on his left knee, causing bodily injury.

Based on the investigation, Mcintosh was taken to the Ector County Law Enforcement Center (ECLEC).
