MIDLAND, Texas — According to the Midland County Sheriff's Office, two people have been arrested, one of which for sexual intercourse with a child under 14.
On Monday, MCSO SWAT team along with Texas DPS, Midland Police Department and multiple other agencies assisted the US Marshals Service Lone Star Fugitive Task Force with executing an arrest and search warrant.
The agencies were in the 800 Block of Howard Drive in Midland. 41-year-old Cesario Reyes and 40-year-old Mayra Magallanes were arrested during the execution of the warrants.
Reyes was arrested for an "unlawful and feloniously engaging in sexual intercourse with a child under 14" warrant out of Seward County, Kansas.
Magallanes was arrested for interference with public duties of a Peace Officer.
They were both transported to Midland County Central Detention Center. Reyes was booked in for Fugitive from Justice while Magallanes was just booking.
