WARD COUNTY, Texas — An Odessa teenager has passed away after a single car crash in Ward County.
According to Texas Department of Public Safety, 18-year-old Dominique Lee Retana was driving eastbound on IH-20 when the teen suffered a tire blowout near the 62-mile marker.
The tire failure caused Retana to side skid across the eastbound lanes into a south borrow ditch. Retana then rolled across the service road.
Retana was pronounced dead at Ward County Hospital by hospital staff.
