Darrell Ponder, a Houston Texas native, joined NewsWest 9 as a Digital Content Producer in September 2024.
Ponder graduated college from Muskingum University with degrees in Athletics Communication and Sports Administration.
While in college, he was involved with the campus radio station, WMCO 90.7 the Orbit, hosting his own radio show weekly. Later, he became the sports director for his station.
Ponder was also a three-year football player for Muskingum.
