MIDLAND, Texas — The China Aid Association held their annual banquet Thursday night in Midland titled "Marked To Bring Freedom."

The banquet had Congressman August Pfluger and Chip Roy, along with Dr. Bob Fu, the founder and president of China Aid, as special guests.

China Aid is an international, Christian non-profit human rights organization that looks to inspire, inform and invite people to take action on behalf of persecuted people of all faiths in China.

They also look to bring religious freedom to all.

"This is spiritual warfare pray for China and of course pray for this nation. Not only for the freedom of those persecuted in China but really for all the children and grandchildren," Dr. Fu said. "If the communist party...the regime is removed and to become a democracy it would be a blessing to the whole world. The persecution against Christians, against other religious minorities has reached the worst in 40 years and for the first time the children are totally banned from even going to church."
