MIDLAND, Texas — The Community Children's Clinic in Midland is hosting a free physical event.
The clinic is doing free sports and daycare physicals from July 8 to July 11 from 8 a.m. to 11:30 a.m., by appointment only.
This is open to the community, not just patients that qualify.
They have already filled more than 50 slots and are glad to have the opportunity to give back to the Midland community.
"It's important for us to get our clinic's name out there, so that way, we can just let the community know we are here," said Crystal Garces, the marketing director for Community Children's Clinic. "We have been here for 40 years. To let them know we are here to offer them affordable health care to those families that might not have other resources as far as insurance or private insurance as people who don't qualify for Medicaid or private insurance. We are here to stand in that gap to help all those families."
The clinic is open by appointment Monday through Thursday from 8 a.m. to 11:30 a.m.
