The Museum of the Southwest celebrated the holidays one beer at a time with a fundraiser

The 12th annual craft beer fundraiser, "Reinbeer", was hosted by the Museum of the Southwest on Wednesday.

MIDLAND, Texas — The Museum of the Southwest was busy celebrating the holidays one beer at a time.

On Wednesday night, MSW held their 12th annual craft beer fundraiser, "Reinbeer".

That's all part of the museum's Christmas At The Mansion holiday festivities.

People were able to enjoy beer tasting, live music, food and were one of the first to try Tall City Breweries new limited seasonal drink Chai Milk Stout.

The best part is that all the proceeds raised Wednesday stayed locally to support the museum.

"So this is one of our biggest fundraisers throughout the year. Reinbeer itself as a single event, but also Christmas At The Mansion," Senior Director of Development & Communication Mary Katherine Marshall said. "You don't just have to sponsor one of the many events that happened during these two weeks, you can also donate as a general gift to the Museum of the Southwest. All of the proceeds go to support our annual programming, our education and our exhibitions."

If you are looking for family fun the weekend of Dec. 4, MSW is also putting on their free Christmas Open House event. There will be a gingerbread workshop for the kiddos, baked goods and even pictures with Santa.
