Odessa Fall events to look out for leading up to Halloween

A Fall Festival, Trunk or Treat and Treats on the Street are some of the events Odessa is putting on.

ODESSA, Texas — Here are four cool events Odessa has coming up that all lead up to or are on Halloween:

The City of Odessa is hosting a Fall Festival at McKinney Park on Oct. 21 that is a free family event.

Food trucks will be available from 3 p.m. to 9 p.m., family pictures with a scarecrow are available from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m., face painting from 3 p.m. to 7 p.m., giveaways starting at 3 p.m., a costume contest at 7 p.m. and a live band from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m.

The Fall Festival will also have pumpkin painting and a pumpkin carving contest.

The annual Trunk or Treat event will be hosted by the Odessa Police Department and Odessa Fire Rescue.

It will be on Halloween morning from 9 a.m. to 11 a.m. at the Central Fire Station on 1100 West 2nd St.

Downtown Odessa will be hosting Treats on the Streets which will be on Oct. 31 from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m. Participating businesses will be handing out candy outside its locations. You can collect 10 stamps from the businesses for a chance to win great prizes.

The Ector County Health Department will be having their Hunted House from 1 p.m. to 7 p.m. on Oct. 31.
