MIDLAND, Texas — Throughout the week of March 11, the Bush Family Home State Historic Site is having spring break adventures.
There will be family-friendly activities such as "Flat George" where people can win prizes.
Site Manager Troy Grey gave NewsWest 9 a sneak peek on the activities coming up.
"[On] the 14th and 16th [of March] we're going to have some croquet days in the backyard of the Bush home. So we're going to use the backyard like they used to and play some croquet," Grey said. "The reason why we're playing croquet is because one of [the Bush family's] best friends donated their croquet set that George W Bush and the rest of the boys used to play when they were younger. Many people don't play [croquet] anymore and so we're just looking forward to watching families play together."
