New Scooby Doo exhibit coming to Centennial Library

The new exhibit is called "Scooby Doo Mansion Mayhem." The exhibit is expected to open some time in 2026.

MIDLAND, Texas — A new exhibit is coming to Centennial Library in Midland and this one's for the fans of those meddling kids!

It's called "Scooby Doo Mansion Mayhem."

In this new exhibit, kids are invited to work to solve the case of a jewel-thieving ghost.

Families who get involved can ask questions and search for clues to crack the case.

"We do get a lot of visitors from other areas surrounding cities so we're really hoping to market this. It's coming in 2026 so we have time to work with the marketing team and their marketing team to get the news out there this exhibition is coming to West Texas, to the Permian Basin," said Debbie Garza, director of Midland County Public Libraries. "We're excited, we want the community to have a great experience something that they may not be able to experience in the community."

Another exhibit is also in the works, the "Forever Forest Exhibit." This one is all about trees, to teach kids about where wood comes from, how it's processed and transported.
