MIDLAND, Texas — If anyone likes a bargain, check out the Texas Size Garage Sale!
Senior Life Midland puts it on every year to raise money for Meals On Wheels.
On Thursday, the media got a sneak peak.
Their warehouse is full of just about everything you can think of from furniture to clothing to knick knacks.
A dedicated team of volunteers found these treasured items and have been collecting, sorting and pricing them all-year-long.
The garage sale will be open for five days in October.
"This annual tradition has been around for 35 years, serving our community and helping us to collect funds that feed our homebound seniors through Meals On Wheels," said Tracy Renton, director of development for Senior Life Midland. "The Texas Size Garage Sale actually funds 1/3 of the meals that we do every single year for Meals On Wheels."
The sale will take place starting Oct. 11 and Oct. 12, then again on Oct. 15, Oct. 17 and Oct. 19.
The early bird sale is first at Senior Life's warehouse, which is located at 407 East Scharbauer Dr. in Midland.
The event is volunteer-run and made possible by the generosity of the community.
