DALLAS — Note: All Mavericks games a part of the TEGNA rights agreement will be on NewsWest 9's subchannel Quest 9.2

The Dallas Mavericks announced on Friday, Sept. 5 that a new multi-year broadcast rights agreement was made with TEGNA to bring all Mavericks games not exclusively televised nationally to approximately 10 million people in Texas.

A part of this agreement, NewsWest 9 will broadcast 70 or more Mavericks games this upcoming NBA season on its subchannel, Quest 9.2.

“This is an incredible day for Mavs fans and our partners across Texas, and we are grateful to the Mavericks organization for their partnership and trust,” said Brad Ramsey, senior vice president, media operations, TEGNA. “Mavericks fans, our audience, and our advertising partners had an unbelievable reaction to the 10 games we made available last season, and we are thrilled to build off of that momentum and make every game, home or away, available to more fans, in more homes.”

The first game to be broadcasted on NewsWest 9's subchannel Quest 9.2 was Dallas Mavericks vs. Phoenix Suns on Oct. 26.

Monday's game, Utah Jazz at Dallas Mavericks, will also be on NewsWest 9's subchannel Quest 9.2. Tip off is at 7:30 p.m. CST.
