'Hike With A Homeless Pet' in Midland on Feb. 1

Grand Companions, a homeless pet shelter serving the entire Trans-Pecos region, is bringing homeless animals to the Sibley Nature Center in Midland.

MIDLAND, Texas — Midland Mayor Lori Blong announced on her Facebook page that "Hike With a Homeless Pet," presented by Grand Companions, will be taking place at the Sibley Nature Center on Thursday.

“Our partnership with Grand Companions, a homeless pet shelter serving the entire Trans-Pecos region, is back," Mayor Blong said in the post.

Grand Companions will bring homeless animals to the Sibley Nature Center in Midland, so they can walk on the trails.

Again, this event is on Thursday, Feb. 1.

If people are interested in hiking with a homeless pet, no need to sign-up just show up.
