MIDLAND, Texas — Movie-goers in Midland will have to drive an extra 20 minutes to watch a film for at least the next month.
Cinergy Entertainment announced the Midland location is temporarily closed.
"The movie studios have pushed most of their new content to late July and early August. We look forward to returning, with Hollywood, soon," the company wrote in a Facebook post.
The entertainment company stated the Odessa location is still open for people to bowl, play laser tag and watch throwback movies.
All Texas locations, including Midland, reopened at the beginning of May when Gov. Greg Abbott allowed the reopening of movie theaters.
