MIDLAND, Texas — The City of Midland and the Midland College Business and Economic Development Center (BEDC) have announced a collaboration to assist small business owners.
This collaboration will work through the city's Business Micro-Grant Assistance Project.
The program will be available for help with business interruptions occurring on or after March 27, 2020 due to COVID-19 that resulted in closures to assist with social distancing or decreased customer demand.
Funding received by the city for COVID-19 relief will be distributed in the form of grants to small businesses impacted by the pandemic.
Grants of $10,000 will be awarded to eligible businesses on a first-come, first-serve basis.
Any businesses interested must submit the required documentation. The City of Midland and the BEDC can assist business in completing the application if needed.

Once you have completed the application and collected the necessary documents, you can take them to the Midland College Cogdell Learning Center on 201. W. Florida Ave. Business hours are Monday -Friday from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. and 2 to 5 p.m.
Micro-grant award decisions will be made by City of Midland Community Development Office.
