MIDLAND, Texas — Legacy High School is set to host the 28th Annual Duck Race on Nov. 2.
Donation amounts start at $5, but you can donate how ever much you want.
After a donation is made, the person will be given a rubber duck with a number on it. This number will be used to determine the winner in the race. This year's prizes include $1,500, a PlayStation 5, a 75-inch television, a $200 gift card basket and a Christmas Basket.
All proceeds will go to Midland Legacy mariachi students and their assessment fees. If you have a specific student in which you would like to donate to, enter their name in the "student to benefit" tab. If you don't have a specific student to donate to, enter Mr. Machuca's name and a random student will be chosen.
Midland Legacy is still looking for sponsors to cover the cost of the prizes/donations.
