As of Wednesday afternoon, most locations in Midland and Odessa have been hovering between $3.99 and $4.09.
Some places like Fort Stockton are seeing no lower than $4.05.
While there are some ways to help save money while filling up, it seems Americans will be paying a little extra at the pump for the foreseeable future.
