ODESSA, TX (KWES) - The City of Odessa will be kicking off the holiday season with its Annual Tree Lighting Ceremony on November 29 at McKinney Park.
The event, which will start at 5:30 p.m., will feature a special visit from Santa Clause, hot chocolate, Christmas carols and of course the tree lighting.
The ceremony will also serve as the opening of Starbright Village, the annual display of lighted Christmas scenes. From 6 to 11 p.m. through New Year’s Day patrons will be able to walk or drive through the beautiful displays and enjoy the spirit of winter.
Starbright Village also includes Santa Land, where children can meet Santa from 7 to 9 p.m. on November 30 through December 21.
