BIG SPRING - BSISD recently received its latest campus rankings from the TEA.
As we have previously reported, BSISD has been facing some tough challenges in those regards, and the previous campus rankings hadn't been very favorable as the entire district received an "Improvement Required" status, and all but one campus, Big Spring High School, were also given the "Improvement Required" rank.
The high school received a "Met Standard" ranking at that time.
These latest TEA stats show that some of the work BSISD Administration has been applying to achieve improvements is paying off.
While the BSISD school district still has an overall "Improvement Required" status, two campuses moved up to "Met Standard" (The Junior High and Moss Elementary). The four other campuses still sit at "Improvement Required" but school officials previously stated that it had taken several years to drop down in the TEA rankings.
