BIG SPRING – A Big Spring man suspected of stealing thousands of dollars worth of stuff, across town and the county, now sits in jail.
Authorities arrested 40-year-old Chris Ruiz on Sunday, not long after a building was burglarized in the county.
Investigators tell NewsWest 9, Ruiz has stole more than $25,000 worth of property.
They say he would go into homes that had unlocked doors and steal stuff or simply take items left in people's yards.
Right now, Ruiz faces a burglary charge but more charges are coming.
We're told a lot of the stolen property has been identified by owners, but not all of it.
