The Brewster County Sheriff's Office is welcoming two new deputies. 22-year-old Michael Jurado and 21-year-old Ben Elmore are the newest members of the squad.

BREWSTER COUNTY - The Brewster County Sheriff's Office is welcoming two new deputies.

22-year-old Michael Jurado and 21-year-old Ben Elmore are the newest members of the squad.

Jurado worked for the Brewster County Jail in 2012 and then attended the Sul Ross State University Police Academy last year.

Jurado has also worked for the Reeves County Sheriff's Office and will be stationed in Alpine.

Elmore graduated over the weekend from the El Paso County Sheriff's Office Academy.
