City of Seminole in stage one of water restrictions

From April 1 to September 30, Seminole businesses and residents will only be able to irrigate their landscape three times per week.

SEMINOLE, Texas — Starting April 1, the city of Seminole will be under a Stage 1 Drought Contingency Plan, meaning that Seminole residents and businesses will only be able to irrigate their landscape three times a week.

The irrigation schedule is based on the last digit of the house address:

  • Addresses ending in 1, 3, 5, 7, 9 - Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday
  • Addresses ending in 0, 2, 4, 6, 8 - Monday, Wednesday and Friday

According to the notice, no Seminole business or resident will be allowed to water on Sundays.

This contingency plan is effective until September 30.
