SEMINOLE, Texas — Starting April 1, the city of Seminole will be under a Stage 1 Drought Contingency Plan, meaning that Seminole residents and businesses will only be able to irrigate their landscape three times a week.
The irrigation schedule is based on the last digit of the house address:
- Addresses ending in 1, 3, 5, 7, 9 - Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday
- Addresses ending in 0, 2, 4, 6, 8 - Monday, Wednesday and Friday
According to the notice, no Seminole business or resident will be allowed to water on Sundays.
This contingency plan is effective until September 30.
