Legacy High School inducts 4 new members into Lee Legacy Wall of Honor

Pauley Turney Edwards, Judge Marvin Moore, Dr. Karen Jane Scott and Texas Senator Kevin Sparks were inducted into the class of 2024.

MIDLAND, Texas — Midland Legacy High School (LHS) inducted four new members Friday into the Lee Legacy Wall of Honor as part of the class of 2024.

The Wall of Honor recognizes outstanding former students, faculty, staff and others who made a significant contribution to the school.

Pauley Turney Edwards, Judge Marvin Moore, Dr. Karen Jane Scott and Texas Senator Kevin Sparks were inducted into the class of 2024.

"I got the call and when I was nominated, I just assumed that's something that probably won't happen. But when I got the call, I was, I was really humbled. Mean it really was a humbling experience to know that other people wanted to thank you for what you've done," said Moore.

To be considered for the Wall of Honor, a candidate must be a LHS graduate or served as a staff member.

A candidate should also have made a contribution to the school. They also should have graduated 15 years before being nominated and made a significant contribution to society.
