MIDLAND, Texas — The Sewell Family of Companies broke ground Thursday for a brand new dealership in Midland.
The facility will be located on the corner of Deauville Blvd. and Avalon Dr. and will hold BMW, Cadillac and Buick GMC vehicles across 26 acres of land.
Sewell Family of Companies President Collin Sewell told NewsWest 9 that the goal for this location is to set themselves apart from other dealerships and make it feel more like a resort than a car dealership.
To achieve Sewell's goal of serving the community, the facility will also have a full service restaurant.
"So this campus allows us to really do our best work on a brand new stage that gives people an experience that I think will be unrivaled anywhere else they go," Sewell said. "While my family's in the retail automobile business, for us, it really has always been about serving customers and taking care of people. It's been the hallmark of what my great grandfather, my grandfather, my father and myself and my three boys have always really believed is that we have an obligation and an honor to really take care of people. That's really the business that were in."
Sewell said they expect the facility to be open by Memorial Day of 2026.
