LAMESA, Texas — The Sky-Vue Drive-In in Lamesa might be moving to a new location.
At a Lamesa City Council meeting on Tuesday night, city council met with the owner of the theater to talk about a non-profit proposal and to narrow down options for a new location.
The previous owner, Nancy Moore, told NewsWest 9 that they may have found a good fit.
"What I've been excited about is the possible location for relocating the SkyVue would be at Lobo Park in the Forrest Park," Moore said. "That's a location that the old owner of the SkyVue and myself were talking about it, and in his comment was that it that Lobo Park is the most perfect place for the SkyVue to move and all of Dawson County."
