ECTOR COUNTY, Texas — Water quality in the surrounding areas of Ector County has been significantly affected by the September flooding, according to Ector County Judge Dustin Fawcett, who made the announcement on Friday.

The release stated that water well testing was conducted and results determined bacterial contamination within the Chaparral Estates Subdivision.

Residents located in this area can pick up water testing kits at the Ector County Health Department located at 221 North Texas Ave, in Odessa during normal business hours. People can also call 432-498-4141.
