JAL, NM (KWES) - Jal fire crews are working a fire at a compressor station in the area of Battle Axe and Dinwiddie Road. According to Jal Fire Department, the crews are on standby until gas lines are shut off.
Compressor plants consist of many compressors, auxiliary treatment equipment and pipeline installations to pump natural gas over long distances.
At this time there is no word on how the fire started or if there are any injuries.
