BREWSTER COUNTY, Texas — The Brewster County Sheriff's Office Facebook posted that on Tuesday March 26, a Brewster County Deputy conducted a traffic stop south of Marathon.
The vehicle in question was occupied by seven undocumented immigrants from Mexico, with Christian Rodriguez-Vega serving as the driver.
US Border Patrol Agents took the driver and all six passengers into custody.
The driver, Rodriguez-Vega has been booked into the Brewster County Jail on six counts of smuggling of persons.
