ODESSA, Texas — The Odessa Police Department (OPD) is investigating Tuesday's I-20 major crash as a fatal hit-and-run, according to a City of Odessa Facebook post.
The post states that the crash happened in the 400 block of East Interstate 20. OPD responded to the scene of the crash at approximately 10:51 a.m.
When officers arrived, a man identified as Alfonso Adame was lying on the center median because he was struck by a vehicle. Adame was pronounced dead at the scene.
