ODESSA, Texas — The Odessa Police Department responded to a rollover crash Thursday afternoon.
At about 2:34 p.m., OPD was called to the 300 block of Southwest Loop 338. Investigation revealed that a gray Ford F-250, driven by 31-year-old Reymundo Gomez, was driving south on West Loop 338.
According to OPD, Gomez made an unsafe lane change and lost control of the vehicle, causing it to rollover into a ditch.
Based on this, Gomez was arrested for driving while intoxicated on a substance other than alcohol and cited for failure to control speed.
He was taken to the Ector County Law Enforcement Center where he remains on a $1,000 as of Friday afternoon. No other injuries were reported.
