PRESIDIO, Texas — A man wanted on a Midland manslaughter warrant was caught at the Presidio port of entry Sunday, according to Public Affairs Specialist Roger Maier with U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP).
The 20-year-old man, not identified by Maier, was wanted by the Midland Police Department after a grand jury indicted him.
According to Maier, the man was arriving from Mexico as a passenger in a vehicle.
Maier stated that CBP officers performed primary inspection duties on the 20-year-old and "received a National Crime Identification Center (NCIC) warrant match for a wanted person."
According to Maier, the man was then turned over to the Presidio Police Department for processing.
