Man arrested in Alpine for possessing 27 grams of meth, narcotic paraphernalia

The Brewster County Sheriff's Office conducted a traffic stop on Russell Boyd Masterson and found the drugs in his car.

ALPINE, Texas — A man in Alpine was arrested by the Brewster County Sheriff's Office on Tuesday for possessing 27 grams of meth, along with narcotic paraphernalia.

On Tuesday afternoon, deputies conducted a traffic stop on Russell Boyd Masterson. Upon searching his vehicle, probable cause revealed that he was in possession of the drugs.

Masterson was booked into the Brewster County Jail for possession of a controlled substance (second degree felony).
