MIDLAND, Texas — A Midland man and woman were sentenced Wednesday to about a combined 56 years in prison for trafficking meth and firearm charges.
Thirty-seven-year-old Nikky Nicole Lujan and 38-year-old Raul Gonzalez had and distributed more than 11 kilograms of meth in and around Midland, according to court documents.
Gonzalez was also sentenced for possessing a firearm, which helped with the drug trafficking crime.
Midland police found and recovered meth, firearms, body armor and thousands of dollars at Gonzalez's home in May 2023.
Both Gonzalez and Lujan pleaded guilty to several counts on Sept. 20.
Lujan was sentenced to just over 28 years, while Gonzalez was sentenced to just under 28 years.
