ODESSA, Texas — Odessa police say they have found no threat of a bomb at the Hampton Inn after a threat was called in Thursday morning.
OPD sent a Bomb Squad and the Criminal Investigation Division to search the hotel.
As a precautionary measure, both hotels were evacuated when police arrived.
Police sent in a bomb-sniffing dog and found no evidence a bomb.
At this time no arrests have been made and the investigation continues.
The Hampton Inn is on JBS Parkway near 42nd Street.
OPD did say they have no reason to believe it is connected to Tuesday's incident at Lowe's Home Improvement.
