ODESSA, Texas — A 9th-grade Odessa High student was found with a BB gun in the trunk of his car on OHS' campus Tuesday morning, according to Ector County ISD. The student was later arrested for evading police.
According to an ECISD press release, a parent called ECISD Police saying that she saw a student at OHS who was in possession of a long, black gun.
After the call, ECISD Police found the car and the student. Once police approached the car, the student took off running.
ECISD Police then searched the car and found a BB gun in the trunk.
The student has been charged with evading arrest/detention.
