MIDLAND, Texas — Two women were transported to the hospital with serious bodily injuries after a rollover crash on State Highway (SH) 191 early Thursday morning.
The Midland Police Department reported that the crash occurred on the 10000 block of SH191 around 2 a.m.
The driver Nolbert Camilo Marrero, 32, of Albuquerque, N.M. was driving his a 2008 Ford F-150 when he "became distracted while driving causing him to veer off the main lanes before losing control and striking the center median," according to a Midland Police Department news release.
Authorites say Marrero "then over corrected and re-entered the main lanes before losing control of the truck and entered the south median where the vehicle rolled over."
The two unidentified female passengers in Marrero's vehicle, were ejected from the truck and were transported to Midland Memorial Hospital with serious injuries.
Police say Marrero has pending charges of intoxication assault — it is unknown if these charges stem from this accident.
