Six people in Big Spring indicted in major theft case involving non-profit funds

The investigation, which began on June 20, 2023, revealed a conspiracy to commit theft exceeding $500,000 from January 2020 to June 2023.

BIG SPRING, Texas — The Big Spring Police Department’s Criminal Investigations Division uncovered a significant theft case involving the non-profit organization Isaiah-58, leading to the indictment of six individuals by the 118th District Court Grand Jury on May 30, according to a press release from the Big Spring Police Department.

The investigation, which began on June 20, 2023, revealed a conspiracy to commit theft exceeding $500,000 from January 2020 to June 2023. 

The suspects were identified as Nancy-Stinson Loveless, Clifford Raymond Stinson, Kelsie Marie Armistead, Caleb James Loveless, John Riley Loveless, and Nicholas Loveless, are charged with Engaging in Organized Criminal Activity, a first-degree felony.

Authorities have not yet taken the accused into custody and the investigation remains active.
