MCCAMEY, Texas — A Texas DPS spokesperson has confirmed to NewsWest 9 there has been a shooting in McCamey.
DPS says the shooting occurred in the 300 block of W. 6th St. at approximately 5:30 p.m.
According to the Texas DPS spokesperson, the McCamey Annex was closed for a short period of time due to the shooting.
Texas Rangers is currently investigating the situation and will release statement at a later time.
