Trial date set for former Midland youth minister

Corey White, recently indicted by a grand jury of child porn charges, has a trial date set for January 29, 2024.

MIDLAND, Texas — According to court documents, former youth minister Corey White now has a trial date set.

White was indicted by a grand jury in November for sexual exploitation of children or accessing child pornography with visual depiction of an actual minor.

Jury selection and trial is set for Jan. 29, 2024 at 8:30 a.m.

Before that, a docket call is set for Dec. 20 at 9 a.m. in the Midland Magistrate Courtroom. The plea bargain deadline for this case is Jan. 5.
