The autopsy of Parker ruled his death a homicide, and Olivas and Wilcox were also charged with Arson, with both currently being held at Howard County Jail.

BIG SPRING, Texas — On May 23, around 12:10 a.m., Big Spring Police Department officers responded to a call regarding suspicious people at the Quick Track convenience store at 3rd and Owens in Big Spring, but the suspects left in a black 2000 Ford Pickup before officers arrived.

The vehicle was later found at 8th and Caylor, where officers contacted Eric Olivas, 21 and Amber Wilcox,  19, who reported an altercation with 55-year-old Sidney Parker at his home.

Both Olivas and Wilcox had injuries and were treated by Emergency Medical Services.

Officers were then dispatched to Parker's home for a welfare check.

When the officers arrived at Parker's home, they discovered a small fire and Parker's body with signs of blunt force trauma.

The Criminal Investigations Division was notified, and Olivas and Wilcox were arrested for Public Intoxication after being treated for their injuries.

The autopsy of Parker ruled his death as a homicide, and Olivas and Wilcox were also charged with Arson. Both are currently being held at Howard County Jail.
