Two men arrested in Midland after two search warrants were executed by Midland County sheriff's

MIDLAND, Texas — The Midland County Sheriff's Office tells NewsWest 9 that two men have been arrested Tuesday after MCSO's Central Investigation Division, with the assistance of MCSO's SWAT Team, execute search warrants in reference to stolen property.

According to a press release, the two search warrants were executed in the 400 and 500 block of E. Wolcott Ave. in Midland.

MCSO located a stolen vehicle worth approximately $75,000 and $40,000 worth of stolen tools and equipment.

The two men arrested were 38-year-old Juan Carrillo Jr. and 49-year-old Buddy Floyd Garmon.

Carrillo Jr. was arrested for evading arrest or detention, resisting arrest search or transport and assault causing bodily injury family violence. Garmon was arrested for possession of marijuana. 

MCSO says further charges are pending and the investigation is ongoing.
