PRESIDIO, Texas — The U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP) officers seized 20.6 pounds of cocaine and methamphetamine at the Presidio port of entry on Oct. 20 at 8:30 a.m.
According to a release, a 2014 GMC Acadia, driven by a 42-year-old Mexican citizen entered through the port from Mexico.
A CBP dog sniffed out the car and found something to be wrong, which led to a secondary screening. A physical exam of the vehicle resulted in the discovery of seven cocaine-filled bundles and methamphetamine.
The driver was turned over to the custody of Homeland Security Investigations.
