ECTOR COUNTY - Over population and short staffing had the Ector County Detention Center out of compliance since June.
Officials there say they're back in compliance with the Texas Commission of Jail Standards.
Additional staff has been hired and overtime pay was approved for detention officers.
In addition, some inmates were sent to Tahoka to decrease the overpopulation.
