ECTOR COUNTY - More problems at the Ector County Detention Center.
An Odessa man had a seizure and hit his head on the concrete floor while being booked.
Juan Carrasco was taken to the hospital.
He was pronounced brain dead on Thursday and was taken off of life support by his family on Friday morning.
Carrasco's family is upset because they knew nothing about his injuries until a nurse at Medical Center Hospital told them.
Sheriff Mark Donaldson says the department should have contacted the inmates' emergency contact.
