ECTOR COUNTY, Texas — The Ector County Independent School District is hosting its annual College Night Thursday from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. at the Odessa College Sports Center.
According to a press release, the event is open to all ECISD students and parents. It is considered "a valuable opportunity to explore a wide range of post-secondary options."
It is reported that over 50 colleges and universities from across the nation will be at College Night, providing students with engaging admission representatives and general college information.
Not only will colleges be in attendance, but local military recruiters will be available to discuss career paths in the armed forces.
“Whether they are considering college, a career, or military service, this event offers them a unique opportunity to connect with institutions and organizations that can help shape their next steps," said Rico Enriquez, director of CCMR (college, career, & military readiness) & Post-Secondary Education.
It is encouraged for ECISD students to attend and take advantage of the resources and guidance available during College Night.
