MIDLAND, Texas — Endeavor Energy Resources has donated $100,000 to a vital supporter of the Midland Independent School District, the Midland Education Foundation, according to a MISD press release.
"At Endeavor, we believe in fueling the future of others by providing essential oil and gas resources and supporting local education efforts in our community,” said Jessie Clark, senior community relations specialist for Endeavor. “By supporting key initiatives, we aim to inspire and empower the next generation of leaders and innovators, and we are proud to contribute to Midland Education Foundation’s efforts to enhance educational opportunities and outcomes in our hometown.”
The money will go towards MISD's Leadership Summit, Convocation, Teacher Winter Wishes and Grants for Great Ideas.
Below explains what each MISD initiative the donation is going towards:
- MISD Leadership Summit aims to develop leaders within the school district, providing them with the skills and knowledge necessary to excel.
- Convocation annually brings together educators and staff to inspire and prepare them for the upcoming school year.
- Teacher Winter Wishes provides Midland teachers with much needed classroom supplies midway through the academic year, spreading joy and support within the community.
- New Teacher Orientation ensures that incoming educators are well-prepared and welcomed into the MISD family.
- Grants for Great Ideas, Midland Education Foundation’s signature program, provides assistance for innovative classroom projects that directly benefit Midland ISD students.
