ODESSA, Texas — Odessa College technology students were spreading awareness on big milestones in American history on Friday.
OC held their student symposium that kind of felt like a science fair, except they were learning about history.
Students discussed World War II events from the Holocaust, the war, genocide and human rights.
"This is preparing me to know about what's going on in the world and how to help people when they ask for it," OC Student Elizabeth Brito said.
"It made me feel thankful for what I have, made it easier to go forward and be hopeful for the future," OC Junior Avery McKown said.
Students spent the fall semester to research everything and even created websites along with their projects to present that research on Friday.
