Fort Stockton police: shooting suspects are in custody

According to Fort Stockton police, all suspects involved in Wednesday morning's investigation are in custody.

FORT STOCKTON, TX (KWES) - Fort Stockton police were looking for a suspect believed to be involved in multiple shootings overnight.

Officers conducted a traffic stop in the 200 block of South Kansas around 4:30 a.m. Wednesday morning. According to investigators, the traffic stop came after reports of the shootings where a subject had reportedly been run down by a vehicle.

During the traffic stop, the suspect fled and was at large in the area of Fort Stockton Intermediate School. According to Fort Stockton ISD, classes for this school did not start until 10 a.m. due to the incident.

A weapon believed to have been used in the incident has been recovered and a second suspect has been arrested.

Officials believe the suspect is Vincent Reyes. According to the Fort Stockton PD Facebook page, all suspects are in custody.
