GREENWOOD - School officials in Greenwood have approved a more than $34 million contract for the construction of their new middle school.
The James R. Brooks Middle School will be located across from the high school on FM 1379.
When the building is completed, all fifth through eighth graders will be moved there.
The new campus will also add 50 more classrooms to the district.
